About the Food Drive

Each year, Minnesota FoodShare has a March campaign, to restock food shelves throughout Minnesota.

For several years now, residents of West St. Paul have partnered with local businesses to raise food shelf contributions for Neighbors, Inc. The goal has been to raise West St. Paul's zip code in pounds of food - 55,118 lbs, for the cause.

This year, there is a friendly wager between the City Councils of West St. Paul and South St. Paul. Each city has its own campaign, and the council of the city that loses the wager will have to wear the hockey jersey of the winning team's high school at a city council meeting. Contribute to any of the listed Drop Off locations, directly to Neighbors, Inc, or donate online, to help West St. Paul win the competition.

The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign is an important event, as it not only restocks the food shelves during a busy time of the year, but it also helps secure funding for the food shelf that's distributed later in the year.

Find out more information at Neighbors, Inc. or the MN FoodShare Program's website.
